When it's an excellent basic or just a sweet style, items or sizes can go in a flash. And then you'll see our handy little pop-up that gives you the option to enter your email to be on the waitlist. If you've ever had questions about the process or wondered why it sometimes takes longer for some styles, sizes or colours to be restocked, well then this ones for youuu!
Do all styles get restocked?
Unfortunately, they do not, we only restock the styles that are the big hits. If a style is slower to sell than we'd hoped, we don't reinvest in it with a fresh stock of colours. There are times when we personally loved something so much that we might try it again in a few seasons. Generally, only those bestselling, must-haves that have been voted on by how well they sell get the ol' restock treatment.
How do restocks work?
The way it works is we need to be able to meet a minimum order with our factory. As we continue to grow, this gets easier to reach, but at this time, this means we need to make sure the levels of stock that we currently have reached a point where we can afford to do a restock. As well as we can check off these other major factors:
- it was a bestselling/must-have.
- we have stock in the fabric.
- we have time left in the season.
This means we, unfortunately, can't restock single sizes or colours, for now, that is. Check back in a couple of years as we will continue to grow, and this will change.
Do you always restock the same colours?
No, not always. We try to make sure we have classic/traditional colours (usually black, white or a heathered grey) and then mix in other seasonal or basic colours. Some colours are seasonal, and others will be continued (again this depends on you and how hot that colour is).
How often do you do, restocks?
We love to do them whenever our stock is low enough to meet our factories minimums. Though since our fabric is also custom knit and dyed for us (also at a local Toronto knitter) if we don't have the fabric stock on hand, we are unable to restock styles until we can get a fresh stock of fabric created.
Long story short, for now, we usually do restocks 2 or 3 times a year but also keep it very open and try to plan a few extras thrown in. Be sure to enter your email onto those waitlists. The waitlists, along with sales numbers, are the most apparent indicators as to what is a bestselling, must-have. If there is a colour, you are dying to see in an item or a colour to have restocked - message us. We are a customer-centric brand and try to make many decisions based on the democratic majority of customers mixed with what we know are holes in closets.
